I found a new bike!! On my way home from picking up my medication I biked past a house with a pretty notable pile of stuff and several posters saying “take me!”. I rummaged through the pile before very quickly finding the bones of an old supercycle 8 speed! I stood her up and quickly realized that she was the perfect size for me! I am exceptionally short so finding a bike on the street that just so happened to be the perfect size for me was just too much of a coincidence to me to pass up.

Once I got the bike home I did a once over to check what needed fixing. This is my first bike project so I’m probably missing a few things, but from my limited bike knowledge I know that I need to replace the chain, handle bars, tires & tubes. I also need to either learn how to fix the gears or go get my gears serviced.

Theres a community run bike shop in my city that I plan on going to tomorrow. This shop does a pay what you can program on thursdays so I’m hoping I can grab as much as I can with the budget I have.

I’ve been using my step-dads bike for a couple of years now, so I’m excited to get this bike rolling (so to speak). I’m already looking for to evening bike rides, especially as we move into autumn.

Hello! Welcome to my blog :D. This is the first website I’ve coded and I’m using it to start a blog !!!!!!!!!! These past few months I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about the way I connect to others, or rather how little I truly connect to others. I think this may be for multiple reasons but the main one that I’m most concerned about is my truly terrible communication skills. I’m hoping to use this blog as a means of developing my communication skills :D. I hope you have a good day, and go punch a fascist !
